ATEC is a bipartite incorporated organisation, and is a not for profit training provider. Our expertise covers the training of apprentices and specialised training for industry, school students, school leavers and the unemployed. Our training covers a broad range of qualifications and courses across mechanical, fabrication, engineering production, general construction, electrical, business and retail areas. Our apprentice numbers have increased from 12 in 1995 to over 800 in 2004. ATEC has two industry focused skills training centres located strategically in the North Western and Southern metropolitan areas The western training centre provides additional services through its Australian Apprenticeship Centre and Group Training divisions. Recruitment Services for job seekers and employers is also provided through our new Recruitment Solutions sites at Port Adelaide and Noarlunga. In 2007, the Australian Technical College - Adelaide South was opened at Christie Downs.
